Terms of Service

By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have the authority to bind it.

The service is currently in private beta. It is provided as-is, may change without notice, and may be interrupted. Do not rely on it as the sole means of communication in any situation where a mistranslation could cause harm — including medical, legal, emergency or safety-critical contexts.

You may not use the service to record people without the consent required by the law that applies to them, to conduct surveillance, to circumvent usage limits, or to build a competing translation service by extracting model outputs at scale.

Recording and consent laws vary by jurisdiction and by setting. You are responsible for compliance in the rooms where you use BabelGO.

You retain all rights to the audio and transcripts you produce. You grant us only the licence necessary to process them and deliver the service to you. That licence ends when the session ends, or when retained data is deleted.

The private beta is free and will not be billed retroactively. Paid plans bill monthly in advance, in the currency shown at checkout. Usage beyond a plan allowance bills at the published overage rate.

Machine translation is imperfect. We make no warranty that any translation is accurate, complete or fit for a particular purpose. Where accuracy is legally or clinically consequential, use a qualified human interpreter.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the greater of the fees you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim, or one hundred US dollars. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages.

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, with notice where practical. On termination, we delete your data in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
