Privacy Policy

Audio you send during a session is processed to produce a transcript, a translation and synthesised speech. In zero-retention mode, which is the default for every account, audio buffers exist only for the duration of the packet they belong to, and transcripts are discarded when the session closes. Nothing is written to durable storage.

Workspaces may opt in to transcript retention for compliance or record keeping. When they do, the retention window is configurable, the storage region is explicit, and any workspace member can see that retention is enabled.

We do not train or fine-tune models on customer conversations. Model improvements come from licensed corpora, public datasets and synthetic data. Where we want to evaluate against real usage, we ask, and it is an explicit opt-in per workspace.

We collect the email address you sign up with, an optional company name, and the usage metadata required to bill and to operate the service — session counts, durations, language pairs and error rates. We do not sell this, and we do not share it with advertising networks.

Sessions originating in the European Union are processed on EU infrastructure. US sessions are processed in the US. Enterprise customers can pin processing to a specific region contractually. No conversation crosses a boundary a customer has not agreed to.

We use third-party infrastructure for hosting, error monitoring and payment processing. A current list is available on request and we give thirty days notice before adding a subprocessor that touches conversation data.

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account data at any time by writing to hello@babelgo.ai. Deletion requests are completed within thirty days. Where conversation data has been retained by workspace choice, workspace administrators can delete it directly.

This website sets no advertising or tracking cookies. A single preference is stored in your browser to remember your light or dark theme choice. That is the extent of it.

If we change this policy in a way that materially affects how conversation data is handled, we will notify account holders by email before the change takes effect.
